Indications:
For the treatment of severe bacterial infections caused by organisms resistant to other antibiotics. Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic having a broad-spectrum antibiotic activity against a wide range of gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria indicated in Pneumonia, Diphtheria, Mycoplasma infections in animals and poultry.
After parenteral administration, the therapeutic active blood concentration of Tylo-rus 20% is reached within 2 hours. The therapeutic blood levels are maintained for about 10 hours after administration.
Dosage and Use:
May be used by I/M, I/V, or S/C route.
Cow , Buffaloes 5ml / 100 kg b.w.
Calf, Sheep, Goat 2ml / 40 kg b.w.
Poultry 0.1ml / kg b.w.
Repeat the first injection at 12 hours. interval, then daily for 3 to 5 days. Don’t inject more than 10ml at one site in cattle, calves & 5ml in sheep, goats.
Precautions:
0 Store below 25 C Protect from Sunlight & keep away from the reach of children. If crystals appear in solution, please warm gently in lukewarm water till it becomes clear.
Withdrawal Period:
Meat, Egg: 7days Milk: 5 days
